Uttar Pradesh: Two killed, 8 injured as truck hits tractor-trolley

Bareilly: Two persons were killed and eight others were injured when a truck hit a tractor-trolley carrying labourers in Baheri area of Bareilly district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, a police officer said here.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Raj Kumar Agarwal said that the incident took place at a railway crossing near Parohi farm when the truck hit the tractor trolley.
"Rahees (32) and Ziaur Rehman (35), both residents of Nankaur village, were killed on the spot," he said.

He said that three labourers Farooq, Abdul Hasan and Zaheer were seriously injured in the incident.

"They have been admitted to the hospital. The labourers were going to Parohi Farm from Pipra Nankar village under Devarnia police station for sowing paddy," he said.
