Uttar Pradesh: Two killed, 2 others injured in bike collision

Jalaun/UNI: Two youths were killed and two others were injured when two motorcycles collided in the Konch area of Jalaun district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Monday.

Police sources said that the incident took place late on Sunday evening when Shankar, a resident of Behat in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, along with Veeru (48) were going to meet their relatives in Orai.

"On Orai-Konch road their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle in which four persons were injured," they said.

Police sources said that the injured were taken to the community health center where doctors declared Veeru and Vimlesh (24), a resident of Kaushalpur village in Konch area dead.

"Shankar and Rupesh Rajput (22), who sustained serious injuries, were referred to a higher center for treatment," they said.
