Uttar Pradesh: 3 killed, 1 injured in Badaun road accident

Badaun/UNI: Three people, including a father-son duo, were killed and one more was injured when a truck collided with a pickup van in Faizganj Behta area of Badaun district here in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, a police officer said.

Circle Officer (CO) Bisauli Pawan Kumar said that the incident took place on Moradabad-Farrukhabad road when the pickup van collided head on with the truck.

"Haji Imran (60), his son Izhaar (22), both residents of Katghar in Moradabad district, and the pickup driver, whose identity could not be ascertained, were killed in the accident," he said.

He said that a man identified as Izhaan was injured in the accident and has been admitted to the district hospital.

"The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination and further action is being taken," he said.
