UP: Two policemen killed in road accident in Bareilly

Bareilly, Jun 2 (UNI) Two policemen died on the spot when speeding vehicle rammed their motorbike in Fatehganj western area, police said here on Sunday.

According to police, sub-inspector Rajveen Singh and head constable Rajneesh Kumar were returning after dinner in local restaurant when a speeding vehicle rammed them near Fatehganj west police station.

 

Both of them died on the spot in the accident.

Senior police officers rushed to the spot and arrested driver of the vehicle.


The driver was identified as Anand Sharma and case was registered against him in Fatehganj police station, police said.
