UP: Groom killed in celebratory firing

Lucknow, Feb 18 (IBNS) In a tragic incident, a groom was killed during a celebratory firing as a marriage procession reached a guest house in Uttar Pradesh's Sitapur city on Wednesday, reports said on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Amit Rastogi.

After being shot, he was rushed to Sitapur district hospital.

As doctors refereed him to Lucknow for treatment, he died on his way to the state capital, reports said.

The police have started investigation into the case.
