Union Minister Prakash Javadekar praises India media over COVID 19 coverage

New Delhi/UNI:  Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday lauded country's media for their coverage on coronavirus without sensationalising the pandemic.

"Kudos to Indian media persons and media houses for their coverage on #Coronavirus without sensationalising it", the minister said in a tweet.

Javadekar, in an another tweet, thanked TV Channels and newspapers for their continued support for creating awareness among the people about COVID-19, with their informative programs andcolumns.

"Let us create awareness and not panic", he said.

The number of cases of corona virus in the country has gone up to 126. The infection has so far claimed three lives in the country.
