Mumbai/UNI: Uddhav Thackeray, nominee of the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress alliance for Maharashtra Chief Minister's post, will be sworn in on November 28, according to a confirmation letter issued from the office of the Governor B K Koshyari in response to a claim stake by him for the formation of the govt.

Governor office has confirmed the date and agreed for sworn in ceremony at Shivaji park in central Mumbai.

Earlier, NCP chief Sharad Pawar had announced at a joint meeting of the three parties that swearing-in of the new government will take place on December 1, but the schedule was apparently changed after Uddhav met Governor.

The Sena President, along with key leaders of Congress and NCP, met Governor to stake claim to form government on Tuesday night.

Only uddhav will sworn in on 28th Nov while the rest of the cabinet will be sworn in later, said Balasaheb Thorat, leader of congress party.
