TV actor Karan Mehra arrested for allegedly beating wife, gets bail

Mumbai/IBNS: Television actor Karan Mehra was on Tuesday arrested for allegedly beating his wife, Nisha Rawal, media reports said.

Karan, a popular face on small screens, was accused by his wife of beating her after a fight last night.

The 38-year old actor, who played the lead role in popular daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was arrested from his Mumbai house after the allegation was levelled by Nisha.

He was later granted bail.

Nisha, who dated Karan for six years before their marriage, is a famous TV actor and model.

Both Karan and Nisha started their individual careers as models.
