Tunnel from PoK to India discovered

| | Aug 23, 2014, at 11:55 pm
Jammu, Aug 23 (IBNS) The Indian Army on Saturday claimed that they have detected a 50-meter-long tunnel across the Line of Control (LoC) on Saturday.

Army sources said the dimensions of the tunnel is approximately two and a half feet wide and three and a half feet high and are leading towards
the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

It appears to be an incomplete tunnel as no exit has been found on the Indian side.

Troops are carrying out thorough search of the area to ascertain further details which is taking time due to existing mine field.

Meanwhile, Jammu based Defense Spokesman said the tunnel was made by unknown persons so long ago and we found it today with the help of routine patrolling party.

"We are asserting the facts," he said.
