A 31-year-old woman died in a road accident in the US state of Missouri on Saturday, media reports said.

The deceased was identified as Daram Supriya, a native of Maripeda mandal in Telangana’s Mahabubabad district.

According to a Telangana Today report, Supriya had been running a restaurant in St. Louis and was returning home after closing the establishment when the accident occurred at around 2.20 a.m.

According to information shared with her family, Supriya and a friend were travelling in a car when a truck allegedly rammed into their vehicle from behind, the newspaper reported.

Supriya reportedly died on the spot.

Her friend, a woman from Kodad, was seriously injured in the accident and was shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Supriya was married to IT employee Ranjith, and the couple have a two-and-a-half-year-old son.

A GoFundMe page set up following Supriya’s death said: “On October 3, 2026, a devastating crash in Wentzville, Missouri, took Supriya’s life, leaving behind her beloved 2½-year-old child and a family struggling to comprehend a future without her.”
