TMC lady councillor shot at in party office near Kolkata

Kolkata/IBNS: A Trinamool Congress (TMC) councillor was shot at by unknown miscreants in party office near Kolkata on Saturday.

Champa Das is the councillor of ward 2, North Barrackpur Municipality.

She has been rushed to a private hospital in Kolkata.

Das suffered bullet injuries on her leg.

She had won the election as an Independent but later joined the TMC.
