TMC goons vandalise BJP candidates vehicles in Jadavpur, Diamond Harbour: Babul Supriyo

Kolkata, May 19 (IBNS): Union Minister and BJP candidate Babul Supriyo on Sunday said that Trinamool Congress 'goons' have attacked  BJP candidates' vehicles in areas like Jadavpur and Diamond Harbour in West Bengal.

"#TMChi goons continue to vandalize BJP candidates' vehicles in areas like Jadavpur and Diamond Harbour, and to threaten BJP supporters but regardless of that people have been showing solidarity with the Lotus league. #ChupChapKamalChaap #Vote4BJP," Supriyo tweeted.

Jadavpur BJP candidate Anupam Hazra's car was reportedly vandalised by unknown attackers.

Vehicle of Nilanjan Roy, BJP candidate for Diamond Harbour, alleged that his vehicle was also damaged in the incident.

Violence hit all the six phases of the Lok Sabha polls in Bengal.

India is voting in the final phase of Lok Sabha polls on Sunday.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
