Three Maoist supporters nabbed in Lohardaga with 118 live cartridges

Lohardaga, Jul 1 (UNI) Police today arrested three maoist supporters from Serendga forest located in the bordering areas of Lohardaga and Gumla district with 118 live cartridges alongwith posters and banners.

Addressing a press conference here today Lohardaga SP Priyadarshi Alok said that he had received a tip off that zonal commander of the CPI (Maoists) Ravindra Ganjhu alongwith his squad was camping in the forest area planning to execute a big incident following which a special campaign with the Gumla police was launched in which CRPF and Jharkhand Jaguar also participated.

He said this morning one Ashok Bhagat was caught from Guni village with 53 cartridges and maoists posters and banners and acting on the inputs provided by him two others Pratap Bhagat and Shakeel Ansari were arrested. From the trio a total of 118 live cartridges were seized, the SP said.
