Three killed in road accidents in Maharashtra

Nashik, Mar 8 (UNI/IBNS): Three persons were killed and two others sustained injuries in two different accidents in the district.

According to Satana police, a mother and her son killed on the spot while two others injured in a motorcycle and truck head-on collision at Ambason phata in Satana tehsil of the district on Nampur-Malegaon road yesterday.


The deceased identified as Surayya Samir Sheikh (29) and her son Avesh sheikh (10). Her husband Samir Sheikh and daughter Joya were seriously injured in the accident.


In the second mishap, a woman was killed when a speeding car dashed her on Chandwad-lasalgaon road in chandwad taluka of the district on Thursday evening.


Police registered a case in these regard, and investigations are on.
