Thane: Man kills 14 family members, then commits suicide
Thane, Feb 28 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a 32-year-old man allegedly killed 14 members of his family at their house near Thane in Maharashtra before committing suicide on Sunday morning, media reports said.
Among the 14 killed are seven children and six women.
According to reports, the man allegedly killed them by slitting their throats. All the victims were at first sedated.
However, one woman of the family survived the attack and has been under treatment in a hospital.
The man was reportedly found hanging with a knife in his hand.
As per initial reports, the police have suspected a property dispute to be the reason behind the murders.
