Terrorist hideout busted in J&K's Reasi

Jammu/UNI: Security forces on Wednesday recovered cache of arms and ammunition from a terrorist hideout busted in Mahore belt of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police said that in a joint cordon and search operation launched by Reasi Police and Indian Army, a terrorist hideout was busted in Kot Budhan Forest of Mahore and explosives, ammunition and other items were recovered.

On receiving information about a hideout, a search operation was conducted for three days in which the hideout was busted, he said.

The recovery included one live grenade, four rounds of AK-47, one fired cartridge of AK-47, two damaged syringes, one lighter, Indian currency of Rs. 1400, one scissor, six utensils, one torch, blanket and clothes.

A case has been registered and an investigation has started, the police added.
