Telangana: Major fire breaks out in a chemical factory, 1 hurt

Sangareddy, Aug 17 (UNI) A worker suffered burns after a major fire broke out at a chemical factory in Pashamylaram Industrial area in Patancheru in the early hours on Saturday.

The injured worker was shifted to government hospital in Hyderabad.

The fire occurred when the workers were on duty in the factory. The cause of the fire was not not immediately known.

The fire quickly spread to adjacent factory where several chemical drums were stored.

Six fire tenders rushed to the spot and took nearly two hours to douse the flames.

The Chemical factory was almost reduces to ashes, Police sources said.
