Telangana Cabinet decides to lift ongoing COVID-19 lockdown

Hyderabad/UNI: The Telangana Cabinet has decided to lift the ongoing lockdown from 6 a.m. on Sunday.

The decision was taken by the state Cabinet at its emergency meeting held on Saturday.

The Cabinet also decided to do away with the night curfew.

It may be mentioned that the ongoing lockdown was to end on Sunday morning.

The Cabinet took the crucial decision after going through the report submitted by the State Health and Medical department.

The health department officials too observed that there was a significant drop in COVID-19 cases and the positivity rate in the state.

The government officials have been asked to lift all the restrictions imposed in the offices during the lockdown.
