Supreme Court stays Yakub Menon execution
New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS) The Supreme Court on Monday stayed the execution of Yakub Memon, convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.
Yakub Memon was a chartered accountant and a brother of Ibrahim Mushtaq 'Tiger' Memon, one of the prime accused of the attacks which killed 257 people.
The Supreme Court in March last year had convicted Yakub Memon for his role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case and sentenced him to death
