Student thrashed black and blue for doing excess homework

Chittoor, Mar 9 (UNI) A government school teacher thrashed a class 3 girl student indiscriminately with a baton for doing a excess of homework than he prescribed, in Rompicherla Mandal , 40 km away from here.

The incident took place on Friday and it was came to light on Saturday.


According to the information, Tejaswini (8) daughter of Raja Reddy on Friday, class teacher Ramesh has beaten her with a baton for completing excess of home work which led to reddish blue marks on her back and the teacher left the school immediately after last bell for avoiding her parents anger.


The student unions who assembled at the school demanded the suspension of a teacher.
