Sri Lankan Foreign Relations Minister Dinesh Gunawardane to visit India next week
Colombo/IBNS: Sri Lankan Foreign Relations Minister Dinesh Gunawardane will visit India on Jan 9, media reports said.
This will be first official visit abroad since he took his office.
It had been a practice for Sri Lankan Foreign Ministers to visit India for their first visit abroad, reported Daily Mail.
According to media reports, he will visit the nation until Jan 10.
Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa had visited India in Nov at the invitation of PM Narendra Modi.
