Sonia congratulates Narednra Modi

New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS): Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday congratulated Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi over his victory.

Sonia sent a letter of congratulation to the BJP leader on Tuesday, CNN-IBN reported quoting AICC sources.

Earlier, Sonia was criticised for not acknowledging the landslide victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party led by Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, the Indian National Congress on Thursday informed that Sonia Gandhi will address Congress Parliamentary Party meeting on May 24.

The INC India posted on Twitter: "Congress President Smt. #SoniaGandhi to address Congress Parliamentary Party meeting on 24th May."

Modi-led the BJP and the NDA to a historic win against the Congress winning a whopping 336 seats in the recently concluded Lok Sabha election.
