Situation in Delhi is under control: Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi/IBNS: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday said despite a sharp rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the national capital since Thursday,situation in the city remained under control.

"There are 384 coronavirus patients, the number was 293 till yesterday," Kejriwal said during a press briefing.

"Only 38 cases of local transmission. The situation is still under control in Delhi," he said.

After originating from China, the disease has spread across different parts of the world now.

India has reported over 50 deaths so far.

More than 2300 people are infected by the virus.
