Sheikh Hasina to visit China next month

Dhaka, June 9 (IBNS): Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina on Sunday said she will visit China in July.

Hasina said she will visit the neighbouring nation at the invitation of country's President Xi Jinping.

Hasina made the announcement while addressing a press conference on her tri-nation tour of Japan, Saudi Arabia and Finland at Ganabhaban on Sunday. 

This will be Hasina's fist visit to China since forming the government in Bangladesh for the third consecutive term.

“I’ll go,” Hasina was quoted as saying by bdnews24 on her China visit, adding that the dates of the tour are being worked on.
