Gandhinagar, July 26 (UNI): After the recent suspension of a lady police constable in Gujarat for sharing her singing video on controversial app Tik-Tok, there seems to be a spurt in such cases with even some higher ranked police officials also involved in such acts.

Two such videos of a PSI of crime branch in Vadodara, Arun Mishra; one singing a song and another delivering a film dialogue while in uniform and sitting in his police station, have come to fore. The matter is under investigation.

Another video of a person sitting on the bonnet of a patrolling PCR vehicle in Rajkot has also gone viral on Tik-Tok. During primary investigation it has come to fore that the vehicle was of A-division police station in the city.

One video of woman, Dy SP Manjita Vanzara, has also come to fore in which she can be seen dancing on a Punjabi song. However she was not in police dress or in any police station.

Another startling video of senior police officer Nilesh Jajadia in which he could be seen putting his official cap on the head of his wife's head.

It is learnt that the DGP Shivanand Jha has also taken it seriously and has discussed the matter with MoS Pradipsinh Jadeja after which guidelines in this regard can be issued.

One lady constable in Lagnaj police station in Mahesana district, Alpita Chaudhary, was suspended two days ago after her Tik-Tok Video showing her dancing in the police station in civil dress had gone viral.
