Security forces nab three armed youths in Assam

Guwahati, July 24 (IBNS): Security forces have arrested three armed youths and recovered ammunition from them in lower Assam’s Goalpara district on Tuesday.

According to the reports, 3/11 Gorkha Rifles and Goalpara district police had jointly launched operation at Krishnai area and arrested the perpetrators.

They have recovered one pistol, three rounds ammunition from the three men, who have been identified as Hemgit Rabha, Sengan Shira and Idrees Ali.

Additionally, two motorcycles, suspected to be stolen, have also been recovered from their possession.

A case (no 198/2018) under section 25 (1A) Arms act has been registered at Krishnai police station in connection with the aforementioned incident.
