SC denies CBI permission to argue on points left out on Uphaar fire tragedy
New Delhi, Aug 20 (IBNS) The Supreme Court has rejected the appeal of the Central Bureau of Investigation to make the pending arguments for the Uphaar fire tragedy case, reports said.
Claiming that they did not get enough time to argue for the case, the CBI had sought time to present their statements.
The apex court has asked the central agency to file a review plea in the case.
The SC's observations come a day after it refused to send the key accused in the Uphaar case to jail.
