Saradha: Madan Mitra sent to jail custody till Jan 30

New Delhi, Jan 16 (IBNS) A court on Friday sent arrested Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and sports and transport minister Madan Mitra to jail custody for another 14 days.

The court rejected his bail plea.

After a marathon 5 hours of questioning CBI arrested Madan Mitra on Dec 12 in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam.

Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mukul Roy has also been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam.
