S Jaishankar meets Italian FM Luigi Di Maio

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Italian FM Luigi Di Maio in New Delhi on Friday when the two leaders noted the  expanding cooperation in cyber security and space sectors between the two nations.

" A warm and productive meeting with FM @luigidimaio of Italy," he tweeted.

"Noted our expanding cooperation in cyber security, S&T and space sectors," S Jaishankar said.

"Agreed that increasing interest of Italian companies in @makeinindia & transfer of technology will further advance our bilateral relationship," he said.

Maio is paying an official visit to India from May 4-6, 2022.

This will be Minister Di Maio’s first visit to India and he will be accompanied by a high level official and business delegation.
