RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat tests Covid-19 positive

Mumbai/IBNS: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday afternoon, the organisation said on its official Twitter handle.

Seventy-year-old Bhagwat has all the common symptoms of coronavirus infection, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) tweeted.

"He is showing all the common symptoms of Coronavirus infection and has been admitted to Kingsway Hospital in Nagpur for general examination and caution," RSS infomed in a tweet in Hindi.

Bhagawat had taken the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Mach 7.

Maharashtra is witnessing a massive spike in coronavirus cases with 58,993 new infections and 301 deaths in the last 24 hours.
