Rs. 9.6 crore looted from ATM cash handling company in Thane

Mumbai, June 28 (IBNS) Miscreants looted a cash of Rs. 9.6 crore from the office of an ATM cash handling company in Maharashtra's Thane district on Tuesday morning, reports said.
The robbery was committed when the money was about to be transferred to the ATM from bank.

The incident took place around 3 AM when a gang of eight  armed miscreants  broke into the company office situated near Teen Hath Naka and looted the cash.

The dacoits also unplugged the CCTV installed on the premises.

Investigation into the incident is on. However, no arrests could be made so far in this connection.
