Rose Valley: TMC MP Tapas Pal sent to 14-day judicial custody

Bhubaneswar, Jan 6 (IBNS): A local court in Bhubaneswar on Friday sent actor-turned-Trinamool Congress Lok Sabha MP Tapas Pal, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with Rose Valley chit fund scam, to judicial custody for 14 days.

As his second phase CBI-custody term ended on Friday, he was produced in the Khurdha court and remanded to 14-day judicial custody.

Earlier on Dec 30, CBI arrested Tapas Pal for his alleged connection with ponzi firm Rose Valley.
