Road mishap leaves two dead in AP

Visakhapatnam/UNI: Two people died on the spot and ten others injured when their van turned turtle near Marribanda area in Yelamanchili mandal in the district, police said here on Sunday.

The deceased identified as S Parvathi (43) and B Sattibabu (45).

The mishap which occurred on Saturday night, when 12 devotees from Anakapalli and chodavaram mandals, who gone to Vijayawada on Friday, while returning after performing special poojas at Kanakadurga Temple.

The injured were shifted to local government hospital at Anakapalli and all are out of danger.

Further investigation was underway, police added.
