Result is indeed disappointing: Shukla

New Delhi, May 16 (IBNS): Congress leader Rajiv Shukla on Friday said the result of the Lok Sabha polls has been 'disappointing' for his party.

"The result is indeed disappointing. We accept peoples' verdict," Shukla told reporters after the BJP-led NDA registered strong results in the Lok Sabha polls on Friday.

"Modi ji sold dreams to the people of the country," he said.

Trends on Friday showed a NDA government in New Delhi under Narendra Modi is now almost a reality.
