New Delhi/UNI: The Congress on Tuesday said resolving of the party's political crisis in Rajasthan is a befitting reply to the BJP who were dreaming of forming a government despite being in a minority.

In a series of tweets in Hindi, AICC media in-charge Randeep Surjewala said, ''Congratulations to the eight crore people of Rajasthan on the end of political developments in the state.''

Surjewala said the issue was resolved with the efforts of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and party leader Sachin Pilot.

''Mr Rahul Gandhi's vision and resolve to take everyone along and Mrs Priyanka Gandhi's support brought results. The maturity of Mr. Ashok Gehlot and the trust and loyalty of Mr. Sachin Pilot helped to solve the issue,'' Surjewala said.

''This is a befitting reply to the BJP, who were dreaming of forming a government despite being in a minority,''he said.

He said that all the MLAs and Congress leaders will now work for a powerful, peace loving and progressive Rajasthan.

''With all the grievances and bitterness now forgotten, all the MLAs and Congress colleagues will now work for the powerful, peace loving and progressive Rajasthan,'' the AICC media in-charge added.
