Ranchi: Human trafficker nabbed with pistol

Ranchi/UNI: A human trafficker who was on a run for last many years was on Sunday arrested from Morhabadi area of the state capital.

The arrested has been identified as Manoj Sahu. He was nabbed along with his second wife from the area. From his car, a pistol, 10 cartridges and many cheque books have been recovered.

Following the instructions of Ranchi SSP Surendra Kumar Jha, a team under DSP One Headquarters Neeraj Kumar comprising policemen from Lalpur, Gonda and Bariyatu Police Stations was constituted.

The police surrounded the area after getting concrete information that Manoj had been roaming in the area with his wife.

Upon seeing the policemen he started to flee but was chased and nabbed with his wife.
