Rahul traveling by train to Punjab

New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS) Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is traveling by a train as he is visiting Punjab to meet farmers in the state on Tuesday.

Gandhi is traveling on Sachkhand Express where he is seen interacting with his co-passengers.

"Rahul Gandhi onboard Sachkhand Express,will visit Sirhind, Gobindgarh and Khanna Mandis of Punjab #RGPunjabVisit," the Congress tweeted.

"Snapshots: Rahul Gandhi interacting with co-passengers while travelling by Sachkhand Express #RGPunjabVisit ," read another tweet.

Unseasonal rains have affected farmers in Punjab.

"I am going to the Mandis in Punjab to see the ground situation there," Congress tweeted quoting Gandhi.

"I've been told the condition of farmers is very bad. I want to see that myself," it said.
