Rahul leaves to meet farmers in Punjab

New Delhi, Apr 28 (IBNS) Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi is visiting Punjab to meet farmers in the state.

Unseasonal rains have affected farmers in the state.

"I am going to the Mandis in Punjab to see the ground situation there," Congress tweeted quoting Gandhi.

"I've been told the condition of farmers is very bad. I want to see that myself," it said.
