Chandigarh, Nov 5 (IBNS) Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Thursday met the families of two men who were killed in police firing last month during a protest against the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib, the holy book of Sikhs, reports said.

Accompanied by Punjab Congress President Pratap Singh Bajwa and other local party leaders, Rahul undertook a padayatra after meeting the family. He is also scheduled to attend a prayer meeting at a gurdwara in Bargari village  of Faridkot district where the incident took place.
