Puri crime: Electrician held for video recording bathing scene of a woman in a hotel

Puri/UNI: Puri Town police today arrested an electrician on the charge of filming a girl while she was taking a bath in a hotel room.

Police sources said Siba Mahapatra, the accused of Nilachal Bhakta Nivas, a Sri Jagannath temple run hotel was arrested for video recording a girl while she was taking a bath.

Police said a tourist family from Raibareli, in Uttar Pradesh arrived at Puri by train on February 11 last. They were staying in two rooms of the Nilachal Bhakta
Nivas.

This morning while the girl was taking a bath she noticed that somebody was recording her bathing scene through a mobile phone.

She raised the alarm and informed the police.

Police after examining the hotel CCTV footage spotted the culprit and arrested him.
