Phagwara: A young girl, who is a model by profession, was allegedly raped by four youths near Haveli on the NH in Phagwara Sub Division of Punjab.

On a complaint lodged by a young model from Jalandhar, the Phagwara police have registered a case against four accused identified as Rahul, Pritpal, Luv, and Gurdial (all of Jalandhar) on the charges of raping and blackmailing the victim.

SP Gurpreet Singh said on Friday the victim model told the police that the accused called her into a building near Haveli on the pretext of shooting a scene on August 16.

She alleged that the accused served her an intoxicant-mixed cold drink and raped her when she became unconscious.

She also alleged that the accused clicked her vulgar photos and videos during her unconscious condition.

She said when she objected after regaining consciousness, the accused showed her vulgar photographs and threatened to kill her.

He said the police are investigating the matter. So far, no arrest has been made.
