Punjab: Black box of crashed MIG -21 retrieved by probing team

Moga/UNI: A senior police officer of Punjab Police who was on special duty at the time of digging out remains of the crashed plane and seizing of remains of crashed MIG 21 claimed that IAF investigation team found the black box.

The Police officer claimed that the investigation team found black box after a thorough search of the dug out remains of the fighter plane which crashed in the fields of Langeana Village of Moga district on Friday.

The black box will now help the investigation team to ascertain the cause of the accident.

The one and a half dozen investigation team members & six members digging team left the site of the crashed plane with remains of the plane Saturday night.
