Priyanka to review poll debacle in Prayagraj on Saturday

Prayagraj, Jun 6 (UNI): Congress general secretary (Uttar Pradesh east) Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from Friday to review Lok Sabha poll debacle.

During her visit, Ms Gandhi would meet candidates who lost the elections and district presidents from 40 districts of Poorvanchal on Saturday morning, sources here confirmed on Thursday.

The AICC general secretary will reach the city on Friday evening and meet the senior leaders in the night at Swaraj Bhawan.

On Saturday, she is slated to hold a meeting with the district presidents and Lok Sabha candidates at the city Congress office.

Sources said that Ms Gandhi would discuss the reason for the poll debacle and could take any decision on the future strategy of the party.
