New Delhi, July 17 (IBNS): A hashtag #SareeTwitter has been trending on Twitter since Monday and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday joined the league of women posting pictures draped in a saree in the popular micro-blogging site.

Several people have been sharing images on the social media in recent times wearing the Indian attire.

"Morning puja on the day of my wedding (22 years ago!) #SareeTwitter," Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted sharing a 22-year-old image.

In the image, she could be seen sporting an orange saree.

Since the Twitter trend started this week, several Indian celebrities and politicians have shared their saree-clad images on the micro-blogging site.
