President's address failed to provide any clarity or hope: Congress

New Delhi, Feb 23 (IBNS): The Congress on Tuesday said President Pranab Mukherjee's speech at the beginning of the Budget Session of the Indian Parliament failed to provide any clarity or hope at a time when the country is facing 'economic uncertainty' and 'social tensions'.

"At a time of economic uncertainty,social tensions & agri distress the President's Address failed to provide any clarity or hope," Congress leader Ahmed Patel ‏tweeted.

Mukherjee addressed  the joint session of the Parliament on Tuesday.

The Budget session commenced from Tuesday.
