President Ram Nath Kovind to attend the session of Bodo Sahitya Sabha tomorrow

Guwahati: President of India Ram Nath Kovind will attend the session of 1st Bodo Sahitya Sabha which will be held in Assam’s Tamulpur district on May 2-4.

President Ram Nath Kovind will attend the open session of Bodo Sahitya Sabha on May 4.

Preparations for the session of Bodo Sahitya are in full swing and the organizers are ready to welcome more than 1 lakh people during the session.

Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Assam Handloom & Textile, Soil Conservation and Welfare of Bodoland Minister said that, for the first time the President of India will attend the session of Bodo Sahitya Sabha.

“It is for the first time in the history of Bodo Sahitya Sabha that, the President of India will attend the session of Bodo Sahitya Sabha. The reception committee is now ready to welcome more than 1 lakh people. The delegates of Bodo Sahitya Sabha will be around 4,000-5,000. The Assam Chief Minister has also supported us. Tamulpur is a newly created district and we are trying to make all arrangements to success this year’s Bodo Sahitya Sabha session. This time we have taken a moto and trying to spread a message ‘Stop Food Waste’,” Urkhao Gwra Brahma said.
