Police officer disengaged for violation of Model Code of Conduct in Kishtwar

Jammu, Mar 27 (UNI): A Special Police Officer (SPO) was disengaged for allegedly violating the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

“A SPO namely Vinod Kumar was disengaged by the SSP Kishtwar Shakti Pathak from SPO rolls on Tuesday for violating the MCC enforced in view of Parliamentary elections,” official sources here said.

They said that the SPO has uploaded a post on its personal instagram account 'extending support' towards a particular party.
