PM to address 'Howdy Modi' today, receives Kashmiri Pandits' delegation in Houston
Houston, Sept 22 (IBNS): As Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Houston in the US, where he is scheduled to address an event called 'Howdy Modi' on Sunday, a delegation of Kashmiri Pandits paid him a visit and lauded his decision related to the Valley.
"In Houston, a delegation of the Kashmiri Pandit community met the Prime Minister. They unequivocally supported the steps being taken for the progress of India and empowerment of every Indian," PMO India tweeted.

Meanwhile, members from Sikh and Dawoodi Bohra community also welcomed Modi in Houston.

Earlier he also met the CEOs from energy sector in Houston to enhance ties between both the countries.

Commenting on the same, Modi posted: "It is impossible to come to Houston and not talk energy! Had a wonderful interaction with leading energy sector CEOs. We discussed methods to harness opportunities in the energy sector. Also witnessed the signing of MoU between Tellurian and Petronet LNG."

Commencing his crucial US visit, Narendra Modi arrived in Houston on Saturday.
The event assumes significance as US President Donald Trump will also attend it.

The 'Howdy Modi' event will be held in NRG Stadium on Sep 22.
The stadium is one of America’s largest professional football stadiums, is home to the Houston Texans franchise, and held the Super Bowl in 2017.
The Texas India Forum expects 50,000 people will attend the summit, using the full capacity of the stadium in concert configuration.
Modi will also attend the crucial UN General Assembly meeting next week in the US.
