PM Modi wishes LS Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on her b-day

New Delhi, Apr 12 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on her birthday.

"My best wishes to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Sumitra Mahajan ji on her birthday. I pray for her long life & good health," Modi tweeted.

Mahajan was born in 1943.

She is the second woman Speaker of the Lok Sabha after Meira Kumar.

Madya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also wished the Speaker and tweeted: "Warm birthday greetings to Lok Sabha Speaker and Madhya Pradesh's beloved 'Tai' Smt. Sumitra Mahajan."
