PM Modi welcomes Tanzania President to India

New Delhi, June 18 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed President of Tanzania Jakaya Kikwete and Mama Salma Kikwete to India.

"I welcome President Jakaya Kikwete of Tanzania and Mama Salma Kikwete to India. I wish both of them a wonderful stay in India. The visit of President Jakaya Kikwete will further cement the close and friendly ties between India and Tanzania," the Prime Minister tweeted.

The Prime Minister also tweeted the same message in Swahili, "Nawakaribisha nchini India Rais Jakaya Kikwete wa Tanzania na Mama Salma Kikwete. Nawatakia makazi yenye furaha nchini India. Ziara ya Rais Kikwete itaimarisha zaidi mahusiano ya karibu na ya kirafiki baina ya India na Tanzania."
